1. San Antonio Spurs (42-8): These Spurs just keep rolling. A one point win over the Lakers was big for this team's confidence. Even though they're playing at top form, beating the defending champs always provides a boost.
2. Boston Celtics (38-13): Ray Allen is about to pass Reggie Miller for most three point shots made in NBA history.
3. Miami Heat (37-14): With the big three back and healthy, Miami's rattled off six straight wins. They still have a very good chance at the #1 seed out east.
4. Dallas Mavericks (36-15): Nine straight victories has this team threatening for the West's two seed. Nobody is going to catch San Antonio.
5. Los Angeles Lakers (36-16): This team needs a change. I know they're 20 games over .500, but they just don't look right. Ron Artest is useless.
6. Chicago Bulls (34-16): Joakim Noah should be back any time now. How good can this team be if they have twenty games to gel before the playoffs? Pretty, pretty, pretty good.
7. Oklahoma City Thunder (33-17): This team isn't great defensively or on the boards, and they aren't very deep. That says a whole lot about the Russell Westbrook/Kevin Durant duo.
8. Atlanta Hawks (33-18): The most under-the-radar, good team in the league resides in Atlanta.
9. Orlando Magic (32-20): This team has talent offensively, but they're a bit of a patchwork. I'll bet you any amount this group won't win a championship.
+1. Blake Griffin: You could make a good argument that he's the best power forward in the league right now. This astounding leaper has great basketball smarts and a surprisingly refined offensive game. He averages 23 points and 13 rebounds per contest; that's one of the best rookie seasons in the last 25 years.
