--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The predictions here come from Adam and correspond to his picks.

Houston Texans at Philadelphia Eagles
I'm tempted to go with the Texans here because Asante Samuel may not play; that's bad news when your facing Andre Johnson.  However, the Texans' pass defense has been horrific this year, and against the dynamic Eagles, that's not a good thing either.  I think Michael Vick and the boys will get back on track playing at home, though this could be a bit sloppy considering both teams have a short week to prepare.
Prediction: Eagles 26 Texans 23

Jacksonville Jaguars at Tennessee Titans
The Titans are in real trouble as long as Rusty Smith is starting.  The Jags amazingly will move to 7-5 and will hold the division lead for at least one more week.
Prediction: Jaguars 23 Titans 13

Buffalo Bills at Minnesota Vikings
This is a chance for Minnesota to put together two straight wins and gain a little momentum.  I think this team is feeling better about itself with Brad Childress gone, and it will blow out a Bills team that has been hanging tough in most games.
Prediction: Vikings 24 Bills 9

New Orleans Saints at Cincinnati Bengals
The Bengals have to win their third game sometime, but not this week.
Prediction: Saints 23 Bengals 20

San Francisco 49ers at Green Bay Packers
Why?  Because I'm a moron...and I will be at this game so if things go south, I may come in to play quarterback.
Prediction: 49ers 23 Packers 21

Denver Broncos at Kansas City Chiefs
The Chiefs are 5-0 at home and must win Todd Haley's revenge game to stay ahead of San Diego.
Prediction: Chiefs 31 Broncos 10

Atlanta Falcons at Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The Bucs have yet to beat a marquee team, but they almost nipped Atlanta in the Georgia Dome, and they played tough last week at Baltimore.  I think this is the week Tampa breaks through with this interesting matchup as Atlanta can't win 'em all.
Prediction: Buccaneers 24 Falcons 23

Cleveland Browns at Miami Dolphins
Though one is 4-7 and the other 6-5, I'm really not sure who the better team is.  I'll just go with the home club.
Prediction: Dolphins 20 Browns 16

Washington Redskins at New York Giants
The Giants saved their season by coming back and beating the Jags last week.  That would have been a really bad loss.  This week the G-Men can end the Redskins' season, and I think they will.  New York just has a much more potent offense.
Prediction: Giants 24 Redskins 17

Chicago Bears at Detroit Lions
I haven't given the Bears much credit all year, but at 8-3 I can't really say they aren't a quality football team.  I don't see them letting down against Detroit because they have such a tough schedule down the stretch, and they really need to stack up wins while they can.  Jay Cutler has been taking better care of the football and the defense is playing really well.  Matt Forte has also been getting more touches in the ground game, which keeps Cutler in check.
Prediction: Bears 28 Lions 24

Oakland Raiders at San Diego Chargers
The Chargers are really hot right now while the Raiders are fading fast.
Prediction: Chargers 31 Raiders 13

Carolina Panthers at Seattle Seahawks
Qwest Field is a tough place to play, especially for a team like the Panthers.
Prediction: Seahawks 23 Panthers 10

Dallas Cowboys at Indianapolis Colts
Something is certainly wrong in Indy, and Dallas has embraced its role as spoiler.  Dallas plays a 3-4 which could really bother Peyton Manning, especially with his offensive line playing so poorly.  Additionally, the Colts' defense is banged up and is getting pushed around.
Prediction: Cowboys 24 Colts 20

St. Louis Rams at Arizona Cardinals
Derek Anderson may have the press conference freakout down, but he doesn't have the quarterback position figured out in the least.  Sam Bradford, however, is well on his way.
Prediction: Rams 27 Cardinals 14

Pittsburgh Steelers at Baltimore Ravens
Pittsburgh is really banged up along the offensive line, and that's a bad omen when you face the Ravens.  This game could very well decide the division and perhaps could determine who gets a first round bye.  The temperature should be right around freezing for the start of this game, though no precipitation is expected.  This should be a battle of two running games, and I think because of Baltimore's offensive line, they hold the advantage.
Prediction: Ravens 19 Steelers 13

New York Jets at New England Patriots
Here's the game of the week in a week full of great games.  The Jets' offensive line is a dominant unit that will pave the way in the ground game.  They also will protect Mark Sanchez so he can go to work against theNew England's league-worst pass defense.  I think the Jets will be able to control the ball, and hit Santonio Holmes and Braylon Edwards for some big plays.  When the Pats have the ball, they will struggle to protect Tom Brady, and that will make their methodical approach more difficult to sustain.
Prediction: Jets 21 Patriots 17
